Job Description

We're seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support daily financial operations and ensure accurate, timely processing across accounts payable and income journal activity. In this role, you will help maintain the integrity of financial data, support month-end close tasks, and collaborate with internal departments to keep accounting workflows smooth and efficient.
  • Process full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice verification, coding, approvals, and payment processing.
  • Review, reconcile, and post daily income journals with accuracy.
  • Verify financial data from PMS, POS, and related operational systems.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain organized financial records to support audits and compliance.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing responsibilities.
  • Monitor expense coding to ensure proper accounting treatment.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and support special projects as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all financial information.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (hospitality experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated integrity, confidentiality, and accountability in handling financial data.
